There are always two people in every picture: the photographer and the viewer. ~Ansel Adams

Introduction first? I'm Jennifer Lange and I'm kinda new to the blogging world. I told myself that I would not fall victim to the world of blogging but recently decided, two days ago in fact, that I would try it out.  I'm creating this pearly to be able to show off my photos hopefully to people outside of facebook.  I only started to seriously get into photography about three years ago when I was given a Canon G9.  I took off from there taking pictures of ever flower and bug I saw. I'm really into the macro stuff but I"m trying to work on portraits and landscapes.   My dream is to one day get one of my photographs published in National Geographic (dream big right?). This spring a dear, dear friend of mine past away from cancer.  He was a phenomenal photographer, and he helped spark my interest in this form of art.  Before he passed he told my father that he had put together this red duffle bag full of camera stuff. Within this duffle bag was a whole new way to view the world through a camera.  He had left me a Canon 5D Mark II plus some lenses and other equipment. For those of you who don't know this is an AMAZING camera, its the top of the line as far as cameras go.  With every picture I take I think of my dear friend who held so much hope for me and saw so much promise with my photography.  I hope to go somewhere someday with my photos, I feel good about them and I hope you all do to.

This one up above was chosen for National Geographic's Daily Dozen.
